2007 Draft Profile

Has the size and NBA ready body that few his age possess. He’s a great athlete who runs the court with ease with excellent leaping ability. Gets great position in the post and most importantly gets his body wide to give guards a good target to pass into. Finishes well around the lane with authority via dunk, lay-up or put back. Oden learned to use his off hand during his wrist injury which now allows him to finish with either hand. He does a great job of keeping the ball high away from opposing guards. Top notch shot blocker who possesses the lateral quickness to be an excellent help defender. Is an excellent rebounder with a post game that has already shown good improvement since high school. Needs to expand his shooting range and work on his face up moves.
