2018 NBA Draft Results Round 1
And like that, the 2018 NBA has come and gone.
There was a little less trade action in the first-round than in past years. Three deals were made this year.

Draft Day 1st round trades
# 3 and # 5 - Atlanta trades the draft rights to Luka Doncic (# 3) to Dallas for the rights to Trae Young (# 5) and a 2019 1st round pick (protected).
# 11 and # 12 -Charlotte trades the rights to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (# 11) to the LA Clippers for the rights to Miles Bridges (# 12) and two future 2nd round picks.
# 10 and # 16 -Philadelphia trades the rights to Mikal Bridges to Phoenix to the rights to Zaire Smith and a 2021 1st round pick (Miami).

# 8 - Cleveland receives Brooklyn's 2018 1st round pick (via BOS), Isaiah Thomas, Jae Crowder and Ante Zizic for Kyrie Irving. Boston receives Brooklyn's 2018 1st round pick, option to swap picks with Brooklyn in 2017, 2016 1st round pick (# 3 Jaylen Brown), 2014 1st round pick (least favorable of Hawks or Nets - # 17 James Young), Gerald Wallace, Kris Humphries, MarShon Brooks, Kris Joseph and Keith Bogans for Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Jason Terry, DJ White and a conditional 2nd round pick (if Celtics swap 1st round picks - top 45 protected).
# 10 - Philadelphia receives the LA Lakers 2018 (unprotected in 2018) from a 3-team trade involving Michael Carter-Williams. Suns receive the Lakers 2015 1st round pick, 2013 1st round pick (least favorable of Cavaliers, Heat, Kings - #30 Nemanja Nedovic), 2013 2nd round pick (protected top 40 in 2013 - #57 Alex Oriakhi), 2014 2nd round pick (#36 Johnny O'Bryant), and $3M cash from the LA Lakers for Steve Nash.
# 12 - The LA Clippers receive Detroit's 1st round pick (top 4 protected in 2018 - 2020, unprotected in 2021), 2019 2nd round pick, Tobias Harris, Avery Bradley, and Boban Marjanovic for Blake Griffin, Brice Johnson and Willie Reed.
# 16 - Phoenix receives Miami's 2018 1st round pick (top 7 protected) in a three-team trade that also involved New Orleans.
# 19 - Atlanta receives Minnesota's 2018 1st round pick (top 14 protected 2018 - 2020, else a 2020 and 2021 2nd round pick) for Adreian Payne.
# 20 - Minnesota receives Oklahoma's 2018 1st round pick (via Utah) (top 14 protected 2018-20, else a 2020 and 2021 2nd round pick) for Ricky Rubio. Utah received Oklahoma's 2018 1st round pick (top 14 protected 2018-20, else a 2020 and 2021 2nd round pick) in a three team trade involving Detroit. Utah traded Enes Kanter and Steve Novak and received the 1st round pick, Grant Jerrett, Kendrick Perkins, the rights to Tibor Pleiss and 2017 2nd round pick (No. 42. Thomas Bryant).
# 22 - Chicago receives New Orleans' 2018 1st round pick (top 5 protected in 2018), Omer Asik, Tony Allen, and Jameer Nelson for Nikola Mirotic and a 2nd round pick.
# 25 - The LA Lakers receive Cleveland's 2018 1st round pick (protected), Isaiah Thomas and Channing Frye for Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr.
