2007 Draft Profile

Williams is long, athletic and smooth. His versatility will allow him to play the two and three at the next level and maybe even a little point. Possesses great court awareness and understands how to utilize his versatility to attack opposing defenses. Shows decent post up skills against smaller players, has always been a good mid-range shooter but really extended his range to the 3-point line. He's an excellent defender who can guard multiple positions. Has played the game this year with a better attitude and has worked on being more mentally tough. Needs to continue to add muscle to his frame which will help him finish after contact, which can bring up the question of his toughness.
