2008 Draft Profile - Chris Douglas-Roberts
Douglas-Roberts is a proven winner and a proven leader for one of the quickest, most NBA-resembling squads in the country. Managing a team that moves at a ridiculous pace can't be taken lightly. While possessing not much body strength, Douglas-Roberts is a talented scorer from all over the floor, and defensively is actually a lot quicker than people give him credit for. Would be a nice fit for a team looking to push the ball, because he is incredibly effective in an uptempo offense slashing and finishing. Look for him to make an immediate impact as a role player in his first year.Draft Profile provided by: Brad Reynolds
Chris Douglas- Roberts reminds you of George Gervin with his awkward style and shot making ability from inside the three point line and his ability to play with his back to the basket. He has every shot in the book and the ability to finish strong to the basket with either hand. Played well against top competition in the NCAA tournment and during the season. Has NBA three point range and the size to play the shooting guard or small forward positions for stretches off the bench. Will need to improve his stength to become a starter in the NBA. Could max out to be a poor mans Tracy McGrady or a better version of Matt Barns or Kevin Martin. Would be a good fit with a team who wants to push the basketball.
