2008 Draft Profile - Eric Gordon

Gordon has been very efficient at Indiana, with a good inside/outside game. He has an NBA body already at the age of 19, and could adapt quickly. There is no doubt he will be able to score at the next level, but can he defend and what position(s)? Unless he grows 3 inches this year, he is a SG in a PG's body. That doesn’t play well with many NBA teams focused on pass first PG's the last few years.

Draft Profile provided by: Brian Mazique - This guy can feel it up, but his ability to consistently get his own shot on the next level worries me. Playing with a teammate that allows him to specialize his game as a shooter could help, along with his above average athleticism. At around 6'3 he is an under sized 2 guard and point guard doesn't look to be a realistic option. A more athletic Ben Gordon and Mitch Richmond, with less size than Richmond. That said he possesses the type of range and scorer's mentality that will create huge scoring nights if given the opportunity with favorable matchups and appropriate teammates.
