2008 Draft Profile - Michael Beasley
Yet another dominating, fearless, strong, quick power forward at the top of the Draft. Could be another Chris Bosh, but with more size. Smooth off the bounce with countless ways to finish in the lane -- can also hit the outside shot. Could be a great fit for the Bulls, but would also be a great fit for the Sonics (if Durant plays the 3), 76ers, Heat, Kings and Bobcats. Beasley projects to be a starting PF, though perhaps not at the perennial All-Star level.Draft Profile provided by: Brian Mazique - Extremely talented 3 or 4, with mean streak and swagger. Can play above the rim, but also has good floor game and solid fundamentals. Left handed, with good range on jump shot and good timing on defense for block shots. Coming into college he had a label of a potential problem child, never showed signs of that at Kansas State. Should have been college player of the year over Hansborough, he remind me of a more athletic version of Derrick Coleman. Hopefully, he can maintain his motivation, if he wants to be, he can be a 24 and 10 guy, most of his career, but may never be the best player on a winning team.
