2008 Draft Profile – Ryan Anderson

Had a solid sophomore season at Cal, averaging 21.1 points and 9.9 boards per game. Excellent shot from beyond the arc, where he averaged 41% for the season. Has a good basketball IQ, and can also play inside, showing a soft touch when facing the basket. Has good size for the four, but is not a great athlete. Is not the greatest defender, especially against quicker big men. It would help if he added some upper body strength.
