2009 Draft Profile - Al-Farouq Aminu

Aminu is the top rated Small Forward through most of the season, as he’s having a solid freshman season at Wake Forest. He’s played small forward, power forward and center this season, mainly due to his excellent athleticism and 7 foot 4 wingspan. Is an excellent rebounder. Decent ball handling skills, improving as the year goes on. Explosive jumper. Gets to the line often but needs improve free throw percentage.

Shows excellent potential but could use an extra year in college to work on his game. Needs to work on his outside shot, improving on 3 point range and consistency. Adding strength would also help him.
