2009 Draft Profile - Jrue Holiday
Another tweener who has some scouts intrigued and some scouts not to impressed. He won’t turn 19 until early June, and had plenty of hype heading into his freshman season. After 23 games he’s averaging under 10 PPG, 4 boards and 3.6 assists in under 27 minutes. He isn’t the most athletic guard but he’s strong for his size. Has a good basketball IQ with an excellent motor. Good first step and lateral quickness. Jump shot is getting better. Plays well at both ends of the court, especially on the defensive end. Unselfish player with an excellent worth ethic.
What position will he play in the NBA? Needs to keep working on his jump shot and ball handling. Still a bit raw and inexperienced. Doesn’t get to the line that ofter.
