2009 Draft Profile - Sam Young

Strengths: Young is an extraordinarily good slasher with a much improved shot over just one year. He is a good offensive weapon on a Pitt team that doesn't always have much (They will still win Championship). His defense is sometimes spectacular, as seen in the 2007-08 Big East Tournament. He is always reliable and very talented. Tends to play well under pressure.

Weaknesses: Not a very good outside shoter; but doesn't have to be. Let's face it: He's not Blake Griffin; but very good.

Final Synopsis: Should be drafted in mid 1st round but I would not be surprised if he is taken earlier - or later.
