2010 Draft Profile - John Wall

Simply a freak athlete who I believe is a combination of Dewayne Wade and Rajon Rondo. He has Wade's ability to find creases and use the spin move effectively while also having Wades athleticism and creativeness to finish tough baskets at the hoop. His build is slinder like that of Rondo with long arms and large hands, he also loves to find teammates as he penatrates to the hole.

The first thing you will notice about Wall is his incredible speed and even the word incredible dose not do him justice, there simply is not adjective in the English language to describe truly how fast John Wall is. Wall also has an amazing ability to finish at the rim with his left hand as you see in his highlight tapes nearly always on his one handed dunks he finishes with the left hand, this is a great atribute considering he is right handed. Wall has shown the ability to not only be a scorer but also a great facilitator always looking for the open man.

After all of this praise alas there is a weakness, his jumpshot. This is only a weakness because he has not needed one his enitre life because of his sonic like speed. This should not be a concern however because as I have watched Wall play I notice he has good form on his jump shot with good follow through and gets rotation on the ball.

In conclusion there is nothing holding John Wall back from being the number 1 pick in the 2010 draft and a First Team All American for John Calipari at Kentucky this year, he is truely a terrefic talent that we do not get a chance to see everyday, enjoy.
