2011 Draft Profile - Mike Davis
An athletic, lanky big man who can run the floor as well as anyone in the draft. Davis' game relies on his mid range jumper and quick post moves around the basket. Davis is a player who's game can be potent when he receives the ball with room to shoot or finish around the basket. He is not a player who can create his own shot on a consistent basis and rarely drives to the hoop. A quick leaper, Davis was an outstanding rebounder in college. However without the size of most NBA power forwards Davis will need to add strength to compete for rebounds at the next level.During his college career Davis was often criticized for his inconsistency. Often he would score over 20 points and dominate a game before vanishing in the next several games. Near the end of his senior season Davis played more consistently, fulfilling some of the potential he showed early in his career.
