2011 Draft Profile - Nikola Vucevic

At 6ft 11 260 he comes with a decent combo of size and quickness with a great feel for the game offensively. He uses his body well and has a great touch around the basket all the way out to the 3 pt line. A versatile scorer, as an all conference performer plays with a lot of confidence. Showed good timing on shot blocking and rebounding in college.

Not a defensive minded player and may be a liability. Most players in the NBA will either find an advantage in quickness or strength. He could play SF, PF, or C depending on how he develops physically and how his aggressiveness translates to the next level. He will need to adapt from being a star player to a bit or role player, and make hustle plays, catch and shoot, as well as set screens when needed.

Looks like a poor mans Dirk or Bargnani. Once he finds a roll he should be able to contribute in the flow of the offense. Depending on how he matches up on the defensive end as well as rebounding will determine his value in the league.
