2012 Draft Profile - Jae Crowder

Crowder is the junk yard dog prospect this year. The problem is where does he play? He measured smaller than expected at the combine and is going to be hugely undersized even as a three. Can he play the two? Not likely, but his effort is off the charts and his toughness will both translate to someone rolling the dice on him. He also has a decent shooting touch. Not an elite athlete, he is still decent and defensively he is actually pretty good...and projects to be able to guard three positions in certain situations. He has big hands, good feet (by and large) and a good hoop IQ. As the cliche goes, he's a guy coaches will love.
