2012 Draft Profile - Orlando Johnson

A small school scorer, Johnson has been working hard to improve his body and his game. His metrics are great....long arms,elite vertical leap, and he's always had good core strength. The knock on him is that he played for a bad team and didn't face great competition. On the plus side, he's a great pure face up shooter, but also a guy who can shoot in traffic. His lateral quickness is questionable and thats going to come under scrutiny in post season workouts. But Johnson is a hard worker, mature (a senior) and certainly seems motivated to do what it takes. He's gonna be drafted second round...maybe high second, just off his physical presence on the floor, and because everyone needs guys who shoot.
