2012 Draft Profile - Keith Appling

Appling a sensational HS scorer, used to playing the 2, has made the switch to the point for Tom Izzo and Michigan State this season. Undersized for a 2 at the next level, Appling will have to continue to work on his ball handling skills and decision making. Appling a natural scorer, who can take the ball to the basket needs more time at the point in college if he hopes to develop as a NBA ready Point Guard. One area where he is ready is quickness, and defense; Appling may be the quickest player in Tom Izzo's tenure at Michigan State.
