2014 Draft Profile - Jahii Carson

One of the best athletes in the draft. Carson is an explosive leaper and dazzles with a very quick first step. Jahii can put the ball in the hoop, and uses his speed and uncanny jumping ability to chase down rebounds. At the next level he will be required to look to pass more often and and adjust to taller guards. A stretch at 5 foot 10 Carson aims to be one of the best little men to play the game. His drive and focus will have to stay on par in the pros as it has been in college. Jahii will wow crowds in warm up and also as he drives for in game dunks. Few men jump and jam like him and he's been doing it for a long time... since middle school in fact, which is crazy for someone of his stature. He hustles on defense and will learn more how to anticipate passes as he studies the pros.
