2015 Draft Profile - Terry Rozier

Strengths:
Terry Rozier has all of the physical tools necessary to play at the next level. He is strong, athletic, and very quick. He knows how to get to his spots on the floor and is an excellent finisher at the rim.

He has also shown a very polished mid-range game, especially off the dribble and is an excellent rebounder for a point guard. For all of his offensive exploits, his defense might be his best attribute.

His quickness, strength, and tenacity on that end make him very attractive to scouts. He can lock in on defense and playing for Rick Pitino at Louisville only further insures his skill level on that end.

Weaknesses:
There are serious questions as to whether or not Rozier is really a point guard. His court vision and passing are below-average at the college level, let alone NBA, and he is far more comfortable getting his own shot than setting up teammates.

Furthering that is a tendency to sometimes over-dribble as opposed to moving the ball around. Turnovers will also be something to watch, especially considering his low assist numbers.

Lastly will be his three-point shooting. While he is excellent in the mid-range, his three-point jumper is inconsistent at best. He will have to be able to knock down jumpers from deep regularly to really take his offensive game to the next level.
