2017 Draft Profile - Frank Jackson

Strengths: Jackson has a great frame for a freshman, filling his frame with some muscle since the beginning of his tenure with Duke. His almost 6'8" wingspan is a huge asset on both ends of the floor, allowing his to get his hand into the passing lane and use it as an advantage around fellow guards.

The 19-year-old has deep range and is capable of getting his shot off whether via a pass or off the dribble. His offensive positioning also makes him lethal from a triple-threat position, with a strong first step and ability to get high off the ground. His ball handling is also fundamentally sound, making solid moves and never too flashy with the ball.

Weaknesses: Sometimes, Jackson can get caught trying to score on his own, taking away his passing ability. He can get hesitant facilitating the basketball, needing to work on his play making ability as a guard. With a deep three-point range comes difficult forced shots from beyond the arc, settling for shots.

Jackson will need to work on his offensive arsenal from the half court set, especially with less opportunities to show off his overall athletics ability.
