2017 Draft Profile - Tony Bradley

Strengths: Bradley possesses an above average offensive repertoire at just 19 years old. He is able to finish around the basket with either hand. What helps him play well down low is his understanding of using sound fundamentals.

He plays within himself most of the time and does not try and do things that he is not comfortable doing. On the defensive end, he plays with his arms up and stands vertical when his opponent rises for a shot. His length also helps him contest his opponent’s shots well.

Even at a young age he has good basketball IQ that helps him have an impact on the court. His versatility as a forward or center should have teams taking a close look at him during the draft process.

Weakness: He is not much of an athlete compared to other centers. Because he does not have the run and jump athleticism like other players his size do, it might downgrade his draft stock.

His inability to make free throws consistently, he shot 62.3 percent last season, could also hurt his stock. He could become a better shooter but will need to put in hard work.

Despite his size he does not protect the rim as well as he should. He averaged less than one block per game last season. If he wants to become more of an impact player at the next level he must become a better all around player.
