2021 Draft Profile - Cade Cunningham

NBA Draft Room - Jan. 31st: "Cade came in with sky high expectations and has more than lived up to the hype."

- Jan. 25th: "Cunningham is a big, strong, physical lead guard that has stardom written all over him. He can score at all three levels, including in the post where he has the size and strength to power through contact."

- Jeremy Woo - Jan 20: "His rare combination of size, versatility, skill level and basketball IQ adds up to impact winning in an unusual way for a player his age. Cunningham continues to expand his game as a shooter and has shown some improvement scoring in the paint, as well."

Kyle Boone - CBS Sports - Jan. 14th: "His assist numbers aren't great and his turnover numbers are alarming, but he makes incredible one-handed whip passes and reads defenses before they know what hit them -- and sometimes before his teammates are aware of what's happening."

Jonathan Wasserman - Bleacher Report - Jan. 14th: "With special passing and basketball IQ, Cunningham could work as a lead guard and decision-maker. But the 6'8", 220-pounder can also operate as a go-to scorer from any position 1-4."

Krysten Peek - Yahoo! Sports - Jan. 11th: "Cunningham dominated in high school due to his size and strength, but hes finding other ways to score this season against bigger, stronger players. Hes a phenomenal passer, has a high basketball IQ and seamlessly does all the little things on the court really well. "

NBA Draft Room - October: "He does everything on the court, scoring, assisting, defending, and he completely controls the pace of the game. Hes a star."

Kevin Flaherty - 247 Sports - Sept. 14th: "Simply put: Cade Cunningham is what the NBA is looking for right now. A 6-foot-6, 215-pound point guard, Cunningham is a jumbo creator who lives with the ball in his hands and can exploit matchups both as a scorer and as a passer setting up his teammates."

Bryan Kalbrosky - The Rookie Wire - Sept. 1st: "Cade Cunningham was the anchor for Montverde Academy, which was touted as the best high school team of all-time. The point forward averaged 18.0 points and 8.5 assists per 36 minutes at the U19 World Cup in 2019, trailing just one player for total assists (40) during the tournament."

Kyle Boone - CBS Sports - June 4th: "He's an elite two-way guard who can score at a high level, facilitate at a high level, and defend at a high level -- the holy trinity of boxes to check as an NBA lead guard."
