2021 Draft Profile - Cam Thomas

NBA Draft Room - Jan. 31st: "A lights out scorer who can get hot from outside and also excels at getting his shot in the mid range."

James Ham - NBC Sports - Jan. 25th: "While Thomas doesn’t move the needle as a passer or rebounder, he can fill it up with the best of them. He’s one of the few freshmen that is living up to his potential and whether he’s a starter or a reserve at the NBA level, he’ll be a bucket."

- Jeremy Woo - Jan 20: "He’s a dangerous shooter with range all over the floor, though it’s worth noting that his three-point clip has sharply dovetailed to start conference play. There’s a decent amount of skepticism surrounding Thomas, who often played a selfish style in high school and has done little to shed the perception that he’s not much for sharing the ball."

Jonathan Wasserman - Bleacher Report - Jan. 14th: "He's a non-playmaking threat who relies on hitting low-percentage shots, but NBA teams should still see an instant-offense threat for their rotation."

Krysten Peek - Yahoo! Sports - Jan. 11th: "He was snubbed as a McDonald’s All-American last year and entered his freshman season with something to prove. In his last four games, Thomas has put up 25 or more points and is shooting 44% from the field."

Kevin Flaherty - 247 Sports - Sept. 14th: "He earned that spot by flat-out scoring, something he does as well as just about anybody in this class. Even on an LSU team with several key returnees, Thomas could emerge among the Tigers’ leading scoring options as a freshman."

Bryan Kalbrosky - The Rookie Wire - Sept. 1st: "Cam Thomas was named EYBL Offensive Player of the Year on the Nike D1 Circuit, scoring 29.5 points per game. He has kept that momentum on the prep circuit for Oak Hill Academy, averaging 33.4 points per game while shooting 44.2% on 43 attempts from three-point range."
