Kyle Boone - CBS Sports - Mar. 16th: "The frame and outside shooting touch could and should keep him in first round consideration, though. Very good length and tools to be a big wing in the NBA."

Kyle Irving - Sporting News - Feb. 11th: "At 6-foot-8 with a reported wingspan that is well over 7-feet, he's built like a prototypical 3-and-D forward. He has a smooth shooting stroke and has all the tools to be a lockdown defender, but he could develop as a shot creator to raise his potential even more."

Ricky O'Donnell - SB Nation - Jan. 19th: "Houstan has failed to live up to his reputation as a monster defender and ace shooter, though there have been flashes of both. The former Montverde product is still getting up threes at an impressive clip if they’re not always falling (31 percent so far) and he’s hitting better than 80 percent from the foul line."
