2022 Draft Profile - Walker Kessler

Cody Taylor - USA Today - Apr. 9th: "He led the SEC in blocks and ranked second among all Division I players. Kessler has been compared by some to Brook Lopez, given his ability to protect the paint and work inside on offense. He wasn’t used much as a floor spacer, but has good form and should improve with more reps."

Kyle Boone - CBS Sports - Mar. 16th: "I've been a skeptic of Walker Kessler's NBA potential too long and am ready to think of him as a first-rounder at this point. The production is simply too good to ignore."

Jonathan Givony - ESPN - Mar. 15th: "The flashes he shows as a passer and a multipositional defender on the perimeter are intriguing for a 6-foot-8 18-year-old, even if his ballhandling and perimeter shooting still have a ways to go to play on the wing full time and his frame is a little thin for a power forward."

Bryan Kalbrosky - USA Today - Feb. 16th: "Auburn’s Walker Kessler has a laughably high block percentage that is currently the largest of any college basketball player on record. He already has two triple-doubles with blocks, which doesn’t even make any sense."

Kyle Irving - Sporting News - Feb. 11th: "He's not super mobile but he's not clunky either. He has displayed a bit of a shooting touch, giving him some potential as a stretch big. He's physical inside and dominates the glass."
