2022 Draft Profile - Wendell Moore

Cody Taylor - USA Today - Apr. 9th: "He registered the fifth triple-double in program history on Nov. 12 against Army with 19 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. He made great strides this season, and it is reasonable to believe that growth will continue at the next level."

Mike Schmitz - ESPN - Mar. 15th: "Duke's most versatile prospect, Moore is an X factor of sorts for the Blue Devils as he gives them a different dimension when he's fully engaged and playing with confidence as a do-it-all wing who can initiate offense, make open 3s, attack the rim and defend his position."

Kyle Irving - Sporting News - Feb. 11th: "He's Duke's primary offensive initiator, running the show to make sure all of their scorers get touches. He's an intelligent and energetic perimeter defender, taking pride in coming up with stops on that end of the floor."

Ricky O'Donnell - SB Nation - Jan. 19th: "Moore looks more quicker as a driver, significantly improved as a shooter, and more confident as a playmaker this season. A 6’5 guard with a 6’11 wingspan, Moore projects as a combo guard with a dribble/pass/shoot skill set who can hold his own defensively."

Cody Taylor - The Rookie Wire - USA Today - Jan. 19th: "Moore is averaging a career-high 15.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.3 steals this season. He has made huge strides in 3-point shooting, improving from 30.1% last season to 41.1% this season."

NBA Draft Room - Jan. 15th: "A standout defender with NBA level athleticism who is now putting it together on the offensive end."

Jeremy Woo - SI - Jan. 13th: "Scouts have lingering concerns about his three-point shooting and lack of explosiveness in the paint, but Moore’s game is otherwise well-rounded: he’ll guard pretty much whoever he has to guard, can make plays for teammates with the ball in his hands, and can be relied upon to compete and produce nightly."

Sam Vecenie - The Athletic - Jan. 6th: "He’s been the team’s most consistent initiator of offense due to his passing ability and his poise. He’s much more comfortable playing at his own pace this year, using his strength and improved handle to keep defenders where he wants them on his hip."
