Position: PF
Team: UCF
Class: Freshman

2023 Draft Profile - Taylor Hendricks

Kyle Irving - Sporting News - June 21st: "The 6-8 stretch-four is a prototypical power forward in today's NBA. He shot nearly 40 percent from 3-point range this past season and he has the defensive versatility to defend both wings and bigs because of his size and mobility."

Gary Parrish - CBS Sports - June 20th: "Hendricks is an out-of-nowhere one-and-done prospect who is likely to go in the lottery despite being a sub-80 prospect in the Class of 2022. He's the type of tall, athletic and a proven shooter who could help progress Utah's rebuild."

NBA Draft Room - May 16th: "A highly skilled big forward with shooting range and athletic upside. An awesome and versatile all around defender. One of the fastest rising prospects in the land."

John Fanta - Fox Sports - May 12: "At 6-foot-9, Hendricks can impact the game defensively as a switchable piece, and he shot nearly 40% from 3 this past year at UCF, averaging 15.1 points and 7.0 rebounds per game on 48% from the floor."

Tyler Byrum and Chase Hughes - NBC Sports - May 8th: "A flashy 3-and-D forward with tremendous upside to be a versatile scorer and playmaker. What's not to like? Hendricks closed his freshman season at Central Florida with a 39.4% 3-point mark at 4.6 attempts per game."

Bryan Kalbrosky - For the Win - May 5th: "Hendricks is one of just ten high-major freshmen to record at least 35 dunks and 3-pointers in the same season. Eight of the previous nine were lottery picks and seven heard their name called as one of the first seven picks in their respective draft class."

Jonathan Wasserman - Bleacher Report - Jan. 5th: "Scouts have been buzzing about Hendricks, especially his defensive tools and movement. But he's also at 41.0 percent from three and consistently delivering big finishes above the rim."
