Position: SG/SF
Team: Miami
Class: Senior

2024 Draft Profile - Kyshawn George

Kevin O'Connor - The Ringer - June 17th: "Creative playmaker with a feel for throwing darts to shooters who are spotting up in the corners, and he can drive to draw a second defender before dumping it off to a cutter with a bounce pass. He operates like a point guard because he grew up playing the position until a late growth spurt."

NBA Draft Room - June 16th: "A jumbo-sized guard/wing with big time upside ability. He gets where he wants on the court despite not having a great first step or quickness and he has shown a nice 3pt shot, hitting over 40% from 3 this year."

Jonathan Givony - ESPN - June 7th: "The fact that he stands over 6-foot-8 but has guard skills, fluidity changing speeds and strong instincts on both ends of the floor helps his appeal with multipositional versatility. George is a late bloomer who grew 9 inches over the past four years and wasn't expected to emerge as a one-and-done prospect upon enrolling at Miami."

Colin Ward-Henninger - CBS Sports - June 4th: "Most importantly, he was a knock-down shooter in his one season at Miami, particularly off the catch."

Zach Buckley - Bleacher Report - June 4th: "George launched 130 long-range looks during his lone season at Miami and buried 53 of them for a 40.8 percent connection rate."

Jonathan Wasserman - Bleacher Report - May 30th: "He skipped scrimmages in Chicago and avoided risking the intrigue he built up around his enticing archetype. George expectedly underwhelmed during athletic testing, and it's that severe lack of explosion that remains worrisome for two-point scoring."

Kevin O'Connor - The Ringer - March 18th: "An unexpected potential one-and-done prospect who has all the qualities of a shot-creating wing."

Jeff Zillgitt and Scooby Axson - USA Today - March 12th: "Born in Switzerland, George is inconsistent as a scorer and playmaker, but has the ability to knock down 3s. Has shown enough as a scorer and rebounder with his size to attract first-round attention."
