2025 Draft Profile - Carter Bryant

The Ringer - May 27th: "Bryant’s standout trait at this stage is his defensive playmaking. He lifts off the ground quickly and hangs in the air for as long as necessary. His leaping ability, coupled with his quick reaction speed, makes his blocks seem like acts of precognition."

Kyle Boone - CBS Sports - May 23rd: "He's a 3-and-D type wing who has tremendous size, and he rated in the 82nd percentile on unguarded catch-and-shoot opportunities last season."

NBA Draft Room - May 22nd: "He’s a got great size and natural strength, a silky smooth jumper and great defensive instincts. He’s one of those prospects that normies might not be very high on but NBA scouts drool over. I could see him being one of the five best players from this draft when we look back at it in a decade."

Kevin O'Connor - Yahoo! Sports - May 12th: "Bryant is a rangy, athletic forward who projects as a highly versatile defender. He’s raw on offense though. Beyond his cutting, he needs to improve as a shooter to earn minutes in high-leverage games."

NBA Draft Room - March 22nd: "He’s got an awesome frame, a smooth offensive game and impacts both ends. He tends to get mocked outside of the lottery but he keeps moving up my board and may end up in the top 10."

Jeremy Woo - ESPN - March 13th: "Bryant has shown what makes him interesting long term while coming off the bench for Arizona, bringing strong defensive versatility and the makings of a functional perimeter game. Though not a good ball handler, Bryant is a plus-passer and capable catch-and-shoot player with upside left to tap into."

Jonathan Wasserman - Bleacher Report - March 11th: "Even in limited minutes or opportunities to make plays with the ball, Carter Bryant has still been able to sell himself as a fit for a role at the next level. Positional size and athleticism, spot-up shooting and disruptive, versatile defense create an appealing foundation to build on."

USA Today - March 11th: "The athletic forward provides a solid combination of strength and fluidity. He has lateral quickness to stay in front of the ball and the ability to block shots."
