Danny Wolf
Ht/Wt: 6'11" / 252 lbs
Position: C
Team: Michigan
Class: Junior

2025 Draft Profile - Danny Wolf

The Ringer - May 27th: "Wolf has exemplary feet for his size and he uses them well to offset his mostly ground-bound existence. On offense, he can toggle between facing up with a live dribble and either putting bigger defenders in a blender with a couple of separating moves or reverse-pivoting into a back-to-the-basket approach against smaller players."

NBA Draft Room - May 22nd: "There’s a world where it all comes together for him and he becomes one of the more unique offensive forwards in the league. And there’s a world where it doesn’t translate and he’s a bench big, a journey man, a Troy Murphy."

Kevin O'Connor - Yahoo! Sports - May 12th: "Wolf is a 7-footer who ran point for Michigan, playing a slick style with risky passes and step-back jumpers that made him a highlight factory. But he’s also a turnover machine and his shooting numbers are shaky, making him more of a raw bet who needs time to prove he can match his flash with substance."

NBA Draft Room - March 22nd: "A very nimble, quick and skilled center who moves more like a guard than a big. Has good passing vision and a nice outside shot but can be a bit turnover prone."

Jeremy Woo - ESPN - March 13th: "There's no prospect quite like Wolf in this draft, with his ability to pass and play on the perimeter at his size (7-foot). His anomalous mix of skills also makes him somewhat divisive -- he hasn't been especially efficient (55.7% TS in conference play) and has struggled with turnovers because of the number of risks he takes."

Kyle Boone - CBS Sports - March 12th: "Wolf is a third-year college player but just 20 years old experiencing a breakout with Michigan this season. He's a 7-footer with guard skills -- handles, probing ability, the works -- who is hitting a career-best 35% from 3-point range to boot."

Jonathan Wasserman - Bleacher Report - March 11th: "Scouts are debating how Danny Wolf projects to the NBA level - whether he's more of a big or a jumbo playmaking forward. Next-level ball-handling has turned him into a tough driver and live-dribble passer, as well as a perimeter scorer who can separate into pull-up and step-back threes."

USA Today - March 11th: "The Yale transfer is shooting up draft boards thanks to his fluid scoring and play-making portfolio in the package of a 7-foot stretch big. Wolf has played point guard at times this season for the Wolverines just like he’s played center."
