The Ringer - May 27th: "He makes simple reads within the flow of the offense, whether he’s playing off the catch and attacking a closeout or catching the ball in the middle of the floor, but most importantly, he’s gifted at using his outside-the-box thinking to pry open passing windows. With a live dribble, he excels at using his terrific size to sling pinpointed darts with overhand touch."

Kyle Boone - CBS Sports - May 23rd: "Demin's range in this draft is wide and could span from here (8th) to the 20s. But I tend to believe one team takes a stab at his size and skill."

NBA Draft Room - May 22nd: "He’s got special passing vision and instincts in a wiry 6-9 frame. He’s at his best with the ball in his hands, using his play-making ability or taking it hard to the rim."

Kevin O'Connor - Yahoo! Sports - May 12th: "Demin has a rare ability at his size to make dazzling passes. But he’s also struggled to shoot and create his own shot against lengthy defenders, making him more of a love-him or hate-him prospect than a sure thing."

Jonathan Givony - ESPN - March 25th: "He also finished the weekend 5-of-13 from 3s, including a massive late-game shot to help BYU upset Wisconsin. Demin, 19, looked confident and aggressive and had some strong moments making passes all over the floor, showcasing his outstanding court vision and playmaking prowess."

NBA Draft Room - March 22nd: "Demin came out of the gates fast but has fallen off over the second half of the year. He’s still a very interesting prospect as a 6-9 point guard with special passing vision but his lack of shooting hurts his draft stock."

Jeremy Woo - ESPN - March 13th: "His season hasn't produced the star turn many hoped for after a strong start, but he remains a focus for NBA teams thanks to his positional size and passing vision. He's a divisive pro prospect primarily because of his struggles creating his own offense, shooting from 3 and long-term defensive concerns."

Kyle Boone - CBS Sports - March 12th: "BYU has closed its regular season on a heater thanks in part to Demin's consistent late-season production. There's great NBA appeal here with his big frame and playmaking if he can improve his shooting."

Jonathan Wasserman - Bleacher Report - March 11th: "Still, there will be first-round interest in a 6'9" ball-handler and playmaker. Teams will see translatability and value in his passing and setup ability. He'll go earlier if a team thinks his shotmaking will be better than the numbers suggest."

USA Today - March 11th: "The Russian is a playmaker who can make quick decisions and facilitate for others. Demin is the size of a wing player but has guard-like skills."
