NBA Draft Room - August 24th: "Bethea is an ultra-talented two-guard who can score in bunches. He's got deep range on his jumper and a lot of bounce and above the rim ability. He's not the biggest guard and is slight of frame and will have to hit the weights hard before being able to guard at the NBA level."

Sam Vecenie - The Athletic - July 10th: "He'll also break down defenders off the bounce and drill 3s out of pull-up situations. His jumper is beautiful and seems to work from the midrange as well. He is the kind of player who really translates to the modern, skill-conscious NBA, where floor-spacing and shooting is at a premium every night."
