2025 Draft Profile - Tyrese Proctor

The Ringer - May 27th: "Proctor’s status as a prospect has slowly slipped over his three years at Duke, from “keep an eye on this kid, there’s something there” to “eyes are on him, and that something seems flawed” to “eyes are tired of waiting for it, that something might not actually be there.”"

Kyle Boone - CBS Sports - May 23rd: "Once viewed as a potential one-and-done lottery talent, Proctor spent three seasons at Duke and made progress each season as a shooter. He was one of the vocal leaders for a 35-win Duke team last season and would be a nice add."

NBA Draft Room - May 22nd: "Proctor has really developed in his time at Duke and become a much more complete guard. He’s good good size and enough athleticism and projects as as solid back up point guard in the league."

Kevin O'Connor - Yahoo! Sports - May 12th: "Proctor is a tall combo guard with great passing vision who was expected to go one-and-done but has taken until his junior year to look ready for the NBA. At this point, he’s sharpened his jumper and become an even better defender."

Jeremy Woo - ESPN - March 25th: "The guard rode a hot streak from long range, scoring 19 against Mount St. Mary's and 25 against Baylor. He has made 19 of 30 3-pointers in his past three games, including the ACC title game, and is up to 42% from range this season, giving Duke a critical scoring component."

NBA Draft Room - March 22nd: "Proctor is the next in a long line of talented guards from Australia. He has the keys to the Duke offense this year but is having an up and down year."

Jonathan Wasserman - Bleacher Report - March 11th: "Tyrese Proctor's lack of playmaking is clearly a result of Cooper Flagg's presence and the addition of Sion James. Meanwhile, the 6'6" junior guard is up to 41.1 percent from three. Since 2022, there is enough tape of passing IQ to recognize Proctor has more playmaking feel than the assist numbers suggest."
