2026 Draft Profile - AJ Dybantsa

Jeremy Woo - ESPN - March 11th: "In what has become a real debate for the No. 1 pick, some around the NBA have come to view Dybantsa as a safer option than Peterson. He's not as gifted a ball handler or shooter but might have more untapped upside from a physical and skill perspective, as well as on the defensive end."

Jonathan Wasserman - Bleacher Report - March 10th: "Watching the tape, Dybantsa has just been able to create easier shots for himself and teammates. He's finished under 50.0 percent from the floor just four times since Thanksgiving. He leads the nation in scoring with an assist percentage double Peterson's."

NBA Draft Room - March 6th: "He does have some flaws and areas to work on but it's scary to see a player his size with such awesome agility and ability to attack the paint. He can take over games with his scoring, he gets to wherever he wants on the court with his dribble and is developing into a high level passer as well."

Sam Vecenie - The Athletic - March 2nd: "His ability to play with serious bend mixed with explosiveness allows him to consistently get into the teeth of the defense as a straight-line driver. In transition, he's a menace. NBA scouts see that production mixed with upside as he continues to improve his skill set."
