2026 Draft Profile - Alijah Arenas

My NBA Draft: Arenas, son of former NBA star Gilbert Arenas, is a natural scorer with advanced offensive instincts. He’s a confident shot creator who can operate off the dribble, hit tough jumpers, and stretch defenses with range. His feel for scoring situations and ability to get to his spots stand out for his age. Arenas is still developing physically, which impacts his finishing and defense, but his offensive skill level is undeniable. Improving his playmaking and defensive engagement will be key. His scoring upside makes him one of the more intriguing long-term offensive talents in the class.

Jonathan Wasserman - Bleacher Report - March 10th: "The tape shows eye-opening self-creation with sharp handles, shiftiness and footwork. He has joystick movement, getting to spots and keeping defenders off balance. But he also looks far from NBA-ready, which is to be expected, and if he does declare this June, he'd need a patient team willing to wait longer for results."

NBA Draft Room - March 6th: "A natural born scorer, the son of Gilbert is a high upside guard with lottery potential. He's a long and wiry athlete who plays above the rim and has all the tools to be a big time NBA guard. After missing time with an injury he's coming on strong and showing why he was ranked as one of the top recruits in his class."
