2026 Draft Profile - Mikel Brown Jr.

Jeremy Woo - ESPN - March 11th: "Although he's shooting just 41% from the field this season, scouts feel comfortable with his history and that his dynamic perimeter shot-creation (34% from 3) remains a strong attribute. The ups and downs of his season haven't helped his draft profile, though. But he fared better after returning from injury in February."

Jonathan Wasserman - Bleacher Report - March 10th: "There's something very persuasive and aesthetically pleasing about the rhythm, fluidity and confidence he operates pulling up or shooting off the catch without a hint of hesitation. Brown may be streaky, but he's also registering a 30.4 assist percentage, a promising number that reflects lead-guard playmaking ability to complement the microwave scoring."

NBA Draft Room - March 6th: "It was a tough start to the year for Mikel but he's found his rhythm in a big way recently, showing why he was so highly rated to start the season. He's a big time scorer with blazing speed and an elite 3pt shot but he does need to fill out his frame. ?"

He has range out to 30 feet, though his 3-point shooting has regressed to the mean, and his vision as a playmaker for others exceeds everyone in the class when playing in a screen."
