2026 Draft Profile - Yaxel Lendeborg

Jeremy Woo - ESPN - March 11th: "He has successfully defended opposing guards and bigs alike, while also helping to facilitate offensively on the perimeter, showcasing a level of versatility that NBA teams appreciate. A capable if not stellar shooter (34.3% from 3), Lendeborg's switchability and skill level should allow him to plug in all over the floor."

Jonathan Wasserman - Bleacher Report - March 10th: "Yaxel Lendeborg figures to look more attractive to teams interested in improving the rotation for their current window. His offensive versatility has been on display for years, and his production at UAB have been officially been validated by his impact for a projected No. 1 NCAA tournament seed."

NBA Draft Room - March 6th: "Yaxel is a stud who can do a bit of everything on the court. He's an older prospect but is still fairly young in terms of basketball experience and his rate of improvement has been awesome."

Sam Vecenie - The Athletic - March 2nd: "His counting numbers are down from their heights when he was at UAB, but he's averaging 14.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists while playing aggressive defense across the court, often in a more perimeter-based role than what we saw previously. He's also an active help defender with excellent hands, as he consistently rotates across to block weakside shots and is disruptive getting into passing lanes."
