2026 Draft Profile - Anthony Thompson

My NBA Draft: Anthony Thompson is a long, highly skilled wing with one of the more intriguing physical and offensive profiles in the class, standing around 6-foot-9 with a reported 7-foot-3 wingspan. His greatest strength is his shooting potential, as his size and high release make his jumper difficult to contest, while his length gives him significant defensive and finishing upside. Thompson is still physically developing and needs to add strength, become more consistent defensively and prove he can create efficient offense when defenders take away his jumper. Overall, he is a high-ceiling developmental prospect whose combination of shooting, size and length could eventually make him one of the best players in the 2027 class.
