My NBA Draft: Miikka Muurinen is a highly athletic 6-foot-11 forward with an unusual combination of size, vertical explosiveness, mobility and perimeter shooting potential. He is dangerous running the floor, finishing above the rim and operating as either a roll or pop threat, while his length provides intriguing defensive and rebounding upside. His biggest issue is consistency, as his motor, decision-making and overall impact have sometimes fluctuated, and he still needs to add strength and become more polished offensively. Overall, Muurinen is one of the more boom-or-bust prospects in the class, possessing lottery-level physical tools but needing to prove that his flashes can become dependable production.
