My NBA Draft: Pavle Backo is a strong, skilled Serbian center who combines excellent size with interior scoring ability, soft hands and good instincts around the basket. He establishes position effectively, finishes through contact and has enough touch and passing feel to contribute offensively without simply functioning as a rim runner. His lateral mobility and ability to defend pick-and-roll actions are concerns, while expanding his shooting range would make him considerably more versatile. Overall, Backo is one of the more intriguing international centers in the 2027 class and projects as a potential second-round developmental big with room to rise.
